Job Description

Description £33101 - £34528 per annum (plus Surrey Allowance £1,354) for 42 hours per week at Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.This role is subject to a 10% day work enhancement.A standard DBS Disclosure and Barring Service check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) is required for this role.Flexible working is supported, laptop and mobile supplied. 33 days and 3 long service days annual leave, Firefighters pension scheme. Travel across sites would be required.Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has the responsibility of protecting over one million people who live in the 650 square miles of Surrey.   • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocation Achievement
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • A Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management
  • Participate in and pass the core technical and professional development programmes
  • A valid driving licence that enables you to drive in the UK or the ability to learn if required Knowledge and Experience (essential)
  • An experienced and competent operational firefighter with excellent knowledge and confident skills in all areas of operations.
  • Understanding of the variety of different learning needs and preferences that affect the way students learn.
  • Experience of delivering firefighter training both in groups and individual coaching
  • To have worked within a team environment to achieve objectives of the organisation
  • Experience of providing a customer focused service
  • Experience of having managed problems, and effective decision making ability
