Specification Sales Manager - Restorative construction productsArea: Southern Home Counties - RG GU RH TW KT SM TN ME CR BR DAThe CompanyOur client are a manufacturer of a unique restorative products that are used within the construction industry to preserve building materials. These products preserve the lifespan of building materials maintaining their integrity and aesthetics. Being a restorativeproduct this not only a cost saving product but also environmentally friendly. Therefore, specifiers looking for green solutions often favour this solution on retrofit projects. Our client, have an excellent company culture and offer career prospects for theirSpecification Sales Managers.The Role of Specification Sales ManagerThis is a field / home based specification sales role. As Specification Sales Manager you will win specifications and follow the process through to contractor and back sell through distribution partners. You will work on retrofit / repair projects withinthe construction industry both on the commercial and domestic side. As Specification Sales Manager you will call on Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Social Housing Providers, Architects and approved Contractors. You will then back sell through decorativedistributors. The project led sales cycle will see the Specification Sales Manager deal with a multitude of stakeholders including Asset Managers, Maintenance & Repair teams and specifiers. Project values are typically up to £100k and you will be tasked withdeveloping your region that is turning over circa £1m.The Candidate
  • The successful Specification Sales Manager can come from any specification / project led construction sales background. For example, candidates with heavy side construction, light-side interiors, KBB, lighting, building envelopes.(specification) will beconsidered.
  • Most importantly you must come with a solid track record and have longevity in most of your previous role(s).
  • My client will also consider graduates with 18 months experience.
The Package
  • up to £45,500
  • £7500 uncapped
  • Profit share of up to 10% of salary
  • Hybrid company car
  • 7% / 7% pension
