Job Description

Job Title: Sociology and Health and Social Care TeacherLocation: CrawleyWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sociology and Health and Social Care Teacher to join this outstanding school community in January 24 to cover a maternity for 1 year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong knowledgeof the Sociology and Health and Social Care curriculum, with a proven track record of success in the classroom.The school is successful, in and out of the classroom, and has an excellent reputation within the local communityThey can offer a competitive salary, in line with the Teachers Pay Scale, and flexible working hours, dependant on the candidate. Temporary and permanent roles available.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans for students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Sociology and Health and Social Care education, integrating new and relevant material into lesson plans
Qualifications:
  • Experience in teaching Sociology and Health and Social Care Teacher
  • QTS and up to date DBS checks
  • Strong knowledge of Sociology and Health and Social Care curriculum and standards
  • CPD relevant to the role, including up to date knowledge about the resources, packages used and safeguarding
