We are currently recruiting for a Showroom Assistant to come and join on of our clients well-established e-commerce-enabled retailer of timber buildings and associated garden leisure products.This role will be situated at the newly placed show site in Salfords, Surrey (near Gatwick) however due to temporary working arrangements during the movement and social restrictions, the successful candidate will be based on their main site in Horsham, however with all things moving in the right direction and the space almost complete this will not be for long.Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 + CommissionHours of work: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pmWith recent times in mind, many people have been renovating their homes and gardens, and as such our client have seen an increase in sales of their high-end timber buildings and leisure products, therefore the successful Showroom Sales Associate needs to be comfortable handling high-end products and have the passion, knowledge, and communication skills to provide customers the confidence to buy.The purpose of this role will be to manage and operate as the sole representative at this new show-site and therefore will be required to gain rapid and thorough knowledge of the product ranges. You will have the ability to engage with customers face to face, however, during "these times" you will be operating via telephone, email and Live chat instead of face to face.Experience required:You will have gained experience within a professional setting that believes in offering first class customer service. You must offer a friendly yet professional service and be a true peoples person.
