Job Description

Senior Software Developer (C# / JavaScript) - Quantum technologiesPermanentSurrey/ remote£50,000 - £90,000 + bonus + 14% pensionOur client is a global InsurTech business and is looking for a Senior Software Developer (C# / JavaScript) to join on a permanent basis.This is an exciting new opportunity assisting with the use of their ongoing collaboration with Microsoft on Quantum technologies. The platform will be largely based on Azure but will need to tightly integrate with the Windows client.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, refactor and test code (C#), following best practices for maintainability, testability and performance,
  • Implement unit tests (C#, NUnit), developing test frameworks and associated automated test cases,
  • Review and debug code to identify defects, performance bottlenecks or technical debt,
  • Work closely with test engineers to guarantee suitable test coverage, identifying and executing manual tests if necessary,
  • Participating in sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives
  • Work with the Product Owner to help create User Stories and define acceptance criteria
  • Document requirements analysis or design decisions
