Job Description

The Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager will manage one or more scrum teams, driving delivery, managing and resolving scrum level risks and issues and ensuring high quality project delivery using the Scrum delivery framework, across different locations.The Role

  • Provide support and mentoring of Scrum Masters on Scrum Principles and Best Practice
  • Provide leadership and oversight of a number of Scrum teams
  • Motivate and drive the scrum teams to deliver high quality outcomes in line with estimates
  • Initiate and foster collaboration, communication, and team building
  • Undertake the Scrum rituals including Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning and Retrospective
  • Support the resolution of risks and issues and act as an escalation point for other Scrum Masters
  • Coordinate solution implementation and delivery with other Scrum Masters and external teams
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure team execution and performance are aligned with business objectives - near and long-term
  • Ensure delivery of management information against plan/milestones and budget
  • Provide ongoing feedback and review of reporting to ensure that this provides all key stakeholders with accurate reporting against plan
  • Ensure consistent use of JIRA managing projects across a number of Scrum teams
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent reporting of progress at both User Stories and Epic level through accurate Point allocation, and burn down throughout the Sprint
The Requirements
  • Significant experience in leading and managing cross functional teams
  • Highly experienced and knowledgeable of the Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Experienced coach in the Scrum process
  • Hands-on management of Scrum projects and their outcomes
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Experience working with distributed software development products and teams.
  • Strong ability to identify potential issues and dependencies early.
  • Quickly facilitates mitigation plans, alternative approaches and communication of risks.
  • Experience with JIRA, JAMA and/or Confluence.
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Develop tools, aids and/or original content to support the delivery and/or understanding of complex information.
