Job Description

  • Our Programme Facilitators deliver a range of group work programmes and courses aimed at supporting individuals to change negative behaviours and unhelpful patterns of thinking.
  • You will participate in the preparation and planning of groups and then provide written reports on service users’ progress.
  • The role involves working with low, medium and high risk service users. There will be some 1:1 work but most of the work is carried out in a group setting.
  • Skills and ExperienceAs a leading provider of rehabilitation services we look to recruit talented individuals who thrive at dealing with people, enjoy working as part of a team and who are confident at challenging and persuading others.The role would suit someone who is open to working with a diverse range of people with complex needs. You will be dealing with service users from a variety of backgrounds with differing beliefs, attitudes and behaviours where you will need to explore these differences with a view to achieving positive change. You must also have the ability to maintain an adequate level of discipline and control so that learning can take place within the group.Due to the nature of the role a vast amount of training and support is provided to ensure that all Programme Facilitators are confident and competent to succeed. Through the training programme you will learn about the aspects of Treatment and Programme Delivery including the theory behind the Interventions we deliver.Additional InformationBase Salary: £22,924 per annum (Pro Rata) plus unsocial hours pay enhancements - Saturdays premium payment of 50% and evening working premium payment of 30%.For example If the working pattern included three days/evenings per week including the unsocial hours pay enhancements the starting salary would be £15427 per annum.Location: RedhillHours: This is a part time role 22.2 hours per week, there is an expectation that operational staff work three regular weekday evenings (until 10pm) to support service users without jeopardising their employment.Benefits: Pro rata of 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, Pension, competitive Salary, optional Health Insurance, Employee Assistance Programme including access to 24 hour counselling service and Cycle to Work Scheme.About KSS CRC: KSS CRC (Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company) are a leading provider of rehabilitation services for people who have been sentenced by a court to either custody or community supervision.
