Job Description

EPR Workstream Lead Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity to 31 March 2022We are embarking on a big programme of work to increase our Cerner digital footprint with additional modules.As part of this programme, we a number of exciting opportunities. We need a number of Workstream Leads.Are you a project delivery leader with a keen interest and track record in healthcare informaticsWould you like to join our EPR team during a period of digital transformation and help shape the digital agenda ensuring that patients remain at the heart of our workTo succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate recent experience in delivering stakeholders requirements/deliverables combined with a passion for delivering continuous improvement, supporting high standards of quality and patient safety.We are looking for a workstream lead to support the next digital transformation programme. This programme will enhance the current digital functionality within our SaSH EPR focusing on our Cerner solution and connections to other systems and across to Royal Surrey and Ashford & St. Peters.We have variety of workstreams we are recruiting workstreams for, please specify in your application which Workstream is of your preference.

    • The workstream lead will be responsible for:• Managing the workstream resources and deliverables to keep the workstream on track• Production of weekly workstream status reports to the Programme manager and programme board• Ensure the identification of workstream risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions• Ensure allocated workstreams remain on-time and on-budget• Ensure workstream benefits are defined, monitored and realised• Ensure the workstream resource matrix is relevant and updated weekly• Communication of progress to the EPR Programme manager and Executive Team (where appropriate)• Establish and manage the co-ordination of specified workstream meetings• Lead and manage effective change and communication of workstreams throughout the TrustThe ideal candidate would have NHS experience, especially Acute, although others will be considered.
