The Digital Learning & Multimedia Designer will be responsible for the design, development, administration, and implementation of eLearning and digital learning programs at the Systems Learning Academy.The Digital Learning & Multimedia Designer will storyboard, design and implement the instructional content for all deliverables, work with SMEs/authors to obtain the information to be taught and organise it into logical, instructional patterns that are appropriate for the culture and level of expertise of the learners.Main Responsibilities- Design and develop high quality, bespoke eLearning content and Digital Learning experiences for stakeholders- Work closely with SMEs to create production ready storyboards that translate complex technical information into an easily digestible and engaging format- Use modern approaches in eLearning design including scenario-based eLearning, simulations and gamification- Develop and design high quality SCORM compliant eLearning using a range of software, including Articulate 360- Create new eLearning and digital learning material suitable for desktop and mobile devices- Develop and create bespoke animations, video productions, films, graphics and new artwork for all digital learning contentLMS Administration- Contribute to the development of the internal Learning Management System platform [Totara]- Administer the LMS including; building course pages, adding eLearning content, building reports and supporting user management- Manage and resolve eLearning technical support queries by triaging and managing the customer mailbox- Implement system upgrades- Deliver training to the wider team, supporting continuous improvement- Project manage projects, where necessaryExperience and Qualifications:Essential:- Significant experience as an eLearning Designer or Developer- Experience in Learning Management System (LMS) administration- Experience in courseware design, digital learning design and storyboarding- Highly proficient in Articulate Storyline 360- Proficient in Adobes Creative Suite; in particular photoshop, after effects and illustrator- Proficient in multimedia design and video production- Degree, or equivalent, in Digital Media or MultimediaDesirable- Experience in developing eLearning for Technical/Engineering training- Experience with the back end, or technical understanding of Totara- Competent using HTML, CSS and JavaScript- Experience with X- Ray machines or aviation security- Qualification in eLearning design or productionPersonal Attributes- To be able to work to tight deadlines while exhibiting exemplary time management and task prioritisation- Must be self-motivated, organised and a team player- Must have a strong attention to detail- Customer focused, friendly, professional manner- Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate with people at all levels- Passionate about learning & development, in particular digital learning
