Area Sales Manager - Refurb Flat Roofing | Membranes | Waterproofing projectsArea: London / Southern Home CountiesThe CompanyOur client are a blue-chip major player within the construction industry. This British manufacturer supply the market with state of the art roofing membranes and waterproofing solutions. With manufacturing sites all over the UK they are able to deliver aquality product to their customers and are not hindered by product shortages. The successful candidate will be offered future career prospects and promotion(s) based upon delivering results.The Role of Area Sales ManagerThis is a field / home based role covering London and the home counties. As Area Sales Manager you will focus on commercial new build projects specifying hot & cold melt / bituminous roofing membranes. The route to market is via Local Authority Surveyors, Private Practice surveyors, and Roofing Contractors to generate opportunities and sales. Commercial projects could include NHS trust hospitals, schools, colleges, car parks, sports facilities etc. As Area Sales Manageryou will be responsible for producing specifications, tracking and following projects through to completion ensuring you are protecting specifications.The Candidate
  • External or Heavy side sales experience is preferred. Whilst roofing is an obvious match, our client will consider strong project sales experience where the applicant can demonstrate experience and understanding with Contractors, Local Authorities etc
  • We are looking for a candidate that has a strong understanding of building regulations.
  • You must be able to write specifications and reports so you must have strong literacy and grammatical skills.
The Package
  • £50,000 -£65,000 dependent upon experience
  • up to 40% OTE
  • Hybrid company car or £5400 car allowance
