Job Title- Purchase ledger assistantLocation: Redhill (near the train station, possibly parking part of the week)Full time temp role for 2/3 months initially (hybrid, x2 days from home, after initial training period)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, you can start from 8.00/ 08.30 or 9.00am. (7.5 hours per day)Rate of pay: £13.33 per hour PAYE or £16.46 via an umbrella company.My client based in central Redhill are looking for a purchase ledger assistant to join their small purchase ledger team of 3. The role is to cover a period of planned sickness and also someone who is leaving. This is a temp role for 2/3 months, with thepossibility of an extension. You will need to have good attention to details, be able to process invoices onto both excel and also an in-house system. You will need to be confident, a good communicator and able to pick up tasks quickly.Your duties are the purchase ledger assistant include:Processing invoices on both excel and an in-house system.Assisting with reconciliation work.Assisting with payment runs.As the purchase ledger assistant:You will be able to communicate with both internal staff and external customers.Have some finance experience, ideally within purchase ledger.Good attention to detail.Have an interest in working in a finance department.This role is a temporary position ideally to start within one week of a Teams interview.
