  • To assist with development, documentation and control of production testing methods, equipment, and procedures.
  • Communicate with the Laboratory, Design and Drawing Offices about product development and revision by way of component specification and assistance with feasibility challenges.
  • Support Production with the product introductions through the generation of circuits and procedural documentation.
  • Advise the Technical customer services team to deal with complicated site and installation issues. Site visits may also be necessary.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on technical matters, costs of components and solutions.
  • Introduce new systems to refine the day-to-day duties of the Technical Engineering department.
  • Produce PCB designs where necessary as demand requires across the department. May include occasional prototyping.
  • Assist with verifying viability of special product enquiries and specification of components where applicable.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of a HNC inElectrical Engineering
  • Experience using CAD
  • 2 + years experience of working within an engineering/ manufacturing environment
