Yardsman / Site Cleaning OperativeDays: 7:30 am to 16:30 pm (Early finish Friday)Salary: £11.50 (Rise after probation)RedditchThere is an immediate requirement for 2 experienced Site Cleaning Operative to join their Redditch site where they design, manufacture, and assemble precision forged and machined components for a variety of high industry aerospace customers across the UK. Thisposition is permanent and offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company who have a strong order book with further growth planned into 2023 and beyond. Their training and development plan will give successful candidates the opportunityto develop professionally and truly maximise their potential.As a Site cleaning operative, your responsibilities will include:* Performing general maintenance and upkeep of the site.*Cleaning down machinery, windows and grounds.*Operating industrial sweepers.*Use of various cleaning products under COSHH.Skills & Qualifications*A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.*DBS clearance required.*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.*Must have a 5-year work history.*Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.Benefits:*Overtime is paid at a premium rate and available straight away.*33 days holiday + 1 additional day after five years of service.*Reward benefit scheme for all employees.*Excellent progression opportunities.If successful, all applicants are required to undertake a drug and alcohol test on the first day of induction.
