Position: Radio/Electronics TechnicianLocation: On-site (Redditch, B98)Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime (08:45-17:00 Monday- Thursday 08:45 - 16:00 Friday)Salary: £25,000 - £38,000 (Depending on experience)Permanent Position / Excellent Rates of Pay / Early Finish on a Friday / 23 Days Holiday + BHA leading company in the Radio Telecommunications Solutions sector based in Redditch is seeking an experienced Radio Engineer. Reporting to the Programme Manager, the successful candidate will be highly organised and competent with both complex and basic engineeringtasks.Main Duties:-Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on DMR radio sets, working meticulously down to component levels following circuit diagrams.-Address customer inquiries regarding repairs and technical issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution.-Conduct the installation of cable runs, antennas, and associated infrastructure, contributing to seamless project execution.-Collaborate with the broader engineering team, providing support for day-to-day tasks to enhance overall team efficiency.-Adhere to established procedures while actively proposing and implementing improvements to enhance operational processes.Requirements:-Possess a robust background in engineering/installation roles related to DMR technology.-Demonstrate proficient bench engineering skills, including soldering and hands-on experience with electronic components.-Work with a structured approach, maintaining a disciplined work ethic to meet project demands effectively.-Hold a valid and clean UK driving license, as the role may involve travel within the UK and occasional international assignments.-Exhibit excellent communication skills, coupled with strong computer proficiency in tools like Outlook, Excel, and Word.-Fluent in English, both spoken and written, ensuring clear and effective communication within the team and with customers.-Ability to successfully undergo and pass a comprehensive enhanced disclosure (DBS) check.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate, if you feel that this is you, please click Apply or call Ashley Robinson on 0152768585
