Job Description

Production Manager (Process Leader) Full time, Permanent PositionDay shift with early finishes Friday Precision Manufacturing Business RedditchThe Process Leader is accountable for driving consistent standards, rigorous SQDCP performance improvements and customer satisfaction by delivering products OTIF. Responsive to supplier demands and NPI and proactive in moving the business forward.Experience and Qualifications

  • HNC qualification in Mechanical / Production Engineering / Business Analysis (Preferred but not essential)
  • Extensive knowledge / experience leading large scale industrial, complex operations
  • Proven history with a successful portfolio of achievements
Scope and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a process stream from raw material input to delivery and invoicing
  • Headcount ranging from circa 1550 heads
  • Managing and motivating Team Leaders, and operatives
  • Operating budget will include: Payroll, Consumables, Tooling, Sub Contract, Overtime
  • Business Planning, Load & Capacity, SIOP (Sales Investment Operations Planning)
  • Delivery metrics: OTIF, Arrears reduction, Customer satisfaction, Business unit costs and revenue output in line with budgets, build and maintain buffer stocks Standardisation of process and consistent application
  • Responsible for the process stream 24/7
  • Meeting with customers NPI in line with project management policy milestones
