Job Description

Role: PR Account Executive Location: Redditch (Remote) Salary: £28,000 - £30,000Working for a vibrant and fun agency, whos clients vary from Retail to Non for Profit accounts. This agency operates under a hybrid environment, two days in the office and 3 from home, and with an office, dog to keep everyone happy.Although the main focus of the role will be PR, you will be involved with social on an organic and paid media. Working closely with 4 accounts, managing and developing those relationships.

  • Support on multiple accounts, including client press office campaigns, projects and events
  • Producing high quality press releases, media alerts and press facing information and supporting on proposals, pitches and presentations
  • Able to show experience and confidence in media relations, local media and crisis communications
  • Drafting news releases, features, picture captions, web copy, media briefings, liaising with journalists, identifying, and supporting spokespeople, attending events as necessary in order to achieve maximum positive coverage
  • Experience of working on KPI- driven accounts and how youve achieved and
  • delivered against client objections
  • A keen interest and passion for PR and be looking to grow your career in this industry
  • Contribute to project, seasonal and yearly plans for clients in response to their briefs and objectives
  • Meeting co-ordination including leading client meetings, conference calls and updates
  • Social media savvy and be able to showcase an understanding of digital
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of what makes a story and how best to pitch it
  • Cover a wide range of external and internal communications and marketing activities including media relations, editorial and other copywriting, social media activity
  • Highly motivated and creative with a solid understanding of PR
  • To build and maintain regular contact with journalists across all platforms, including specialist press and bloggers, and with communications peers in relevant external organisations, and to work to maximise the value of these relationships
  • Deal with breaking news and reputation/crisis issues as part of routine media management (additional training and support will be provided)
