Sonographer 12 months Fixed Term (Maternity Leave Cover)Part time post 22.5hrs per week (Mon / Wed / Thurs)Looking for a change Then come and join our team.We are a group of 15 friendly and enthusiastic sonographers working in a small but busy department. We like to keep our work varied and interesting and all have a different skill mix including Abdominal, Gynae, Obstetrics, Small Parts, Carotids, DVT’s, Paediatrics and some MSK work. We scan a mix of outpatient and acute inpatient at our Alexandra site, and have community satellite sites within Worcestershire. We independently report all of our work, although we have Radiologists available for support.We are looking for a sonographer to support the obstetric and gynaecology services within the department. The base site would be the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch although rotation may be required to the community site in Evesham. Participation in the weekend service would also be required. We would expect candidates to have a recognised qualification in Medical Ultrasound and be HCPC registered.We would welcome anyone wishing to visit our department an on informal basis or call to speak with our Lead Sonographers.
