Job Description

A Manufacturing Quality Engineer Job opportunity has become available, within a leading manufacturing business. This well-regarded company is offering a competitive salary, for the right professional.Do you want to work within a modern Engineering facility Want to work for a long standing and successful business that supplies precision-engineered parts across the globe Able to not only deliver in Quality Engineer duties, but work on process improvements too Then we want to hear from you!Duties include -

  • Read and work from technical drawings, work cards and customer specifications.
  • Assist with product and process continuous improvement, documenting any changes.
  • Investigate quality issues and produce written cause and corrective action responses.
  • Help with new product introduction, FMEAs, PPAPs and FAIRs.
  • Apply the correct problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa and 5Y.
  • Assist with internal audits, ensuring compliance to internal, customer & regulatory standards such as AS9100.
  • Assist with the training of staff and offer technical support to customers when required.
  • Desirable skills/experience/attributes -
  • Experience in a similar position, ideally within a CNC manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working to ISO 9001 / AS9100 systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tool and Techniques
  • Strong analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer and supplier facing experience.
  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering education (ideally CI/Six Sigma trained).
