A reputable British manufacturing business is searching for an experienced Management Accountantto join its team in Birmingham. This is an office-based role so you will be on-site 5x per week.In this standalone role as a Management Accountant you will take full ownership of the finance function for this £7m turnover firm. You will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, including bank reconciliations,payroll, daily cash flow, consolidation of Chinese sister company accounts and variance analysis. You will manage the departmental budgets, assess critical risk areas and develop contingency plans. A key element of this role will include the ongoing analysisof current systems and advising and offering strategic thinking on any necessary improvement.In order to be suitable for this role you will be a qualified accountant with hands on knowledge of working with Sage Line 50.You will be a practical, forward-thinking and organised individual with strong analytical skills including advanced expertise ofMicrosoft Suite.It would be advantageous to have experience within a manufacturing environment however this is not a mandatory requirement.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Management Accountant looking for their next career stepto join a growing organisation.
