Maintenance EngineerDay shiftSalary: £40,0000 to £42,000 annually + Shift AllowanceRedditchOur client is currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Redditch site where they design, manufacture, and assemble precision forged and machined components for a variety of industries. Theres probably more forging and machining expertise onthe site than anywhere else in the World and successful candidates will have the opportunity to produce components for industry leaders such as Rolls-Royce, Boeing, and Airbus.This position is permanent and offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company who have a strong order book with further growth planned into 2023 and beyond. Their training and development plan will give successful candidates the opportunityto develop professionally and truly maximise their potential.As a Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will include:*Repairing and maintaining plant and equipment*Working within all safety policies and procedures*To ensure all plant and equipment is kept in a safe and acceptable condition*Working with production to minimise plant downtime*Identify spare part requirements for machine repairThe ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following skills and experience:*A time served apprenticeship or experience in a relevant technical discipline*Proven Mechanical maintenance ability with Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience*Ability to respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance*Experience of heavy industry*Knowledge of Machine control / mechanical workingsWhat our client can offer you:*Annual salary of £40,000 - £42,000 per annum (Depending on experience)*Overtime is paid at a premium rate and available straight away*33 days holiday + 1 additional day after five years service*Reward benefit scheme for all employees*Free onsite car parking*Excellent progression opportunitiesTo learn more about this excellent opportunity click Apply now and one of our team will be in touch as soon as possible.
