However, the right person for the job will be able to pick these up quickly so if you have experience with a web application framework like Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Laravel or ASP.net then please get in touch.With these youll probably be experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and hopefully youve also got some front-end experience too. Theres code written in React, Vue and Svelte in this environment. Youre not a designer but you can make something presentable with a decent eye for when things dont look right.Youll have an understanding of CI/CD and a desire to improve the environment around you. Youll also be approachable and someone the team can rely on for help with issues.About the roleYoull spend your time:- Maintaining and improving web services such as a sales and licencing platform and online store- Working on brand new web-based projects (moving offline functions online or designing a new training platform)- Contributing to technical choices to improve performance and customer experience- Communicating with sales and support staff about customer issues or system improvementsSALARY: up to GBP50,000 (bonus, company shares, 5% matched pension, 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, optional four day condensed week)LOCATION: Alcester, Warwickshire (fully remote working available)About the companyTheyre a small but very successful software house full of great people and very open to new ideas.
