Job Description

Our Tier 1 client are currently looking to grow their team and looking for an experienced 2/3rd Line Engineer who can hit the ground running.Skills

  • Technical support to all business users providing desktop support;
  • Administer and maintain the information systems server infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SCCM;
  • Maintain and manage the company virtual environment;
  • Support and maintain the factory IS infrastructure assisting with break downs and preventative maintenance;
  • Manage network systems LAN, WAN, VPN, WI-FI;
  • Introduce new systems applications, coordinate the actions of external partners and internal departments to ensure successful implementations;
  • Maintain network security and mitigate security risks;
  • Ensure company systems conform to industry standards of compliance and licensing;
  • Manage company data and maintain backups and off-site storage.
  • Specify, manage and implement improvements to the company information systems to meet business needs;
Experience
  • Support Engineer with minimum 5yrs experience in a 2nd/3rd line role
  • Proven fault finding skills, identifying root cause and resolving
  • High level of virtualisation experience (VMWare)
  • Experience with Windows Server up to Server 2019Active Directory, Group policy, WSUS, SCCM
  • Experience with support for Windows 7 & 10
  • Office 2016 & 365 admin
  • Network experience LAN (HP Procurve) ,WAN, Wifi (Cisco), Firewalls (Watchguard)
  • Office 365 administration, Exchange online, Sharepoint online, One Drive, Teams, Azure AD
