Job Description

HR Manager - 12-month fixed term contractLocation: RedditchSalary: up to £50K plus benefits T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit an experienced HR Manager for a leading global manufacturing group. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.As stand-alone HR Manager, you will report to the UK HR Director and will work closely with all of the management team across the UK.What will you be doing

  • Thereisadministrativesupportbutotherwisethisisastand-alonerolewhichmeansthatyou would be involved in resourcing, development, employee relations and procedural issues atall levels, from the most junior to leadership team level.
  • You will be responsible for all core HR responsibilities of employee lifecycle, training and development, policy creation, wellbeing and strategic development.
  • Working directly with directors and managers, building strong relationships with stakeholders and being a trusted advisor.
  • Supportthemanagementteamsonallaspectsofemploymenttermsandconditions.
  • Promoteanddrivetalentmanagementandperformancemanagementreviewprocesses.
  • Provide support to managers with employee relations, legal compliance, performance management, discipline, grievance, sickness and termination.
  • Managing annual HR processes including salary and bonus review and performanceappraisals and ensuring the delivery of a high quality day-to-day operational service.
  • WorkthewiththewiderUK HRteamtosupportthe GlobalHRStrategy.
  • Work with the Recruitment Manager to assist the development and execution of the recruitment strategy.
  • PromoteandsupportDiversity,EqualityandInclusionawarenessandactivities.
  • Supporting the HR Director and the wider team in the delivery of organisational and cultural change activities and Global HR strategy.
To be successful in this HR Manager role, we seek the following:
  • Minimumof3yearsworkinginaHRManager/HRBProle.
  • StrongknowledgeandunderstandingofUKemploymentlawandHRbestpracticeinitiatives
  • ExperienceworkinginaUnionisedenvironmentisadvantageous.
  • Abilitytoinuenceandappropriatelychallengeseniormanagers.
  • Condentcommunicatorwhoisabletobuildtrustandoerproactivesolutions.
  • Haveanattentiontodetailandpassionforhighqualityandaccuracy.
  • Abilitytoworkflexibly&independentlywithminimalsupervision..
  • BeCIPDqualifiedorequivalent.
  • UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle for travelling
This role will be based on site in Redditch initially with some hybrid working after a handover period. Occasional travel to other sites may also be required.The successful candidate will need to be available to start in the role by the end of August at the latest.
