Financial and Commercial AssistantIm currently working with an exciting client based in Redditch, however, they supply to countries all over the World. They specialise in manufacturing and installing in the exhibitions, events, museums and interiors sectors.They are a great company to work for, with opportunity to grow and demonstrate your skills to add value to an ever growing business.Normal working hours are 35 hours per week usually Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. There is some provision for flexible workingThe role of Financial and Commercial AssistantA varied and challenging role, there is flexibility to divide up the teams responsibilities to fit the skillset of the individuals. You will be assisting with (but not limited to):Financial* Production of monthly management accounts including, preparation of payroll journals, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis* Bank reconciliations* Prepare sales invoices and chase outstanding debtors* Perform balance sheet reconciliations* Prepare weekly and monthly annual cash flow forecasts* Manage the fixed asset register and depreciation journal* Cover and support for Purchase Ledger and PayrollCommercial* HR* Insurances* Leases* Telecoms & IT* Agreement review (Supplier and Customer)* Tender documentsWhat we want you to have* 3+ years accounts experience and/or AAT Qualified, pursuing a qualification with a recognised accounting body, or able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role* Good general accounting skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately* Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people with confidence and personal authority* Strong organisational skills, a good eye for detail and a proven track record in accounts preparation* An enthusiasm for and understanding of, working in a small team but also able to work on his/her own initiative and to prioritise tasksWhat youll get in return from my client* Support to achieve, to progress, and to develop* Potential to make changes, process improvements, and make a difference* Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience* 20 days annual leave plus Public Holidays* Potential for support for accounting studies including exam leave* Membership of the Companys Stakeholder Pension PlanTo be considered for this role please apply below.
