Position: Electrical AssemblerLocation: RedditchSalary: £11.00-£12.00 per hourType: Permanent OpportunityAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team at a Redditch-based company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the preparation, assembly, testing, and finishing of Control Panels and Consoles in collaboration withthe technical department.Key Responsibilities:Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard for Cable and Wire Assemblies or possess relevant experience working to this standard.Execute panel wiring, including control panels, machinery, consoles, etc.Build wiring harnesses, demonstrating proficiency with various connectors and cable types (D-type, circular, PCB interconnects, screened cables, etc.).Conduct hand soldering for both cable assemblies and PCBs.Perform hand crimping for wire terminals and contacts of different connector types.Interpret and comprehend wiring diagrams and schedules accurately.Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the assembly process.Requirements:Qualification or experience in IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard.Proven experience in panel wiring and building wiring harnesses.Proficiency in hand soldering and crimping techniques.Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schedules.If you are a meticulous and skilled Electrical Assembler looking for a permanent opportunity with a company that values precision and quality, we encourage you to apply.
