Job Description

DATA ARCHITECT REDDITCH 1x MONTHUP TO £90,000THE COMPANYOne of the UKs leading automotive and cycling retailers is now looking to hire a Data Architect to be part of the team! Theyre currently building a data group platform, look at where are they getting the data from and how theyre going to build this.YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Data Architect, you can expect to be involved in...

  • Conceiving and designing the data structures and integrations that enable the company to rapidly, efficiently, and effectively deliver on our key business objectives.
  • Data Engineering: Ensure that architectural and modelling standards and designs are understood by the engineering teams. Equip and support these teams so as to help ensure that the designs are adopted / complied with. Work across the data team to ensurewe build the data assets that deliver on the agreed data models
  • Data Modelling: Ensure that data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) is to a high standard across the organisation. Contribute towards the enterprise-wide data modelling standards and ensure they are effectively implemented and adhered to.
  • Business Analysis: Determine structural requirements by analysing the operations and strategic priorities; reviewing objectives with stakeholders, and evaluating current systems.   • Artefacts/Deliverables: Document and govern the data architectural artefacts/deliverables, e.g., blueprints, principles, procedures and standards.
YOUR KEY SKILLS AND CHARACTERThe successful Data Architect will...
  • Have a broad understanding of data environments, BI stacks, and ETL tools.
  • Have experience with a variety of modern data design and management tools, e.g., Erwin, Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, Collibra, OneTrust, etc.
  • Have experience with modern data, analytics and business intelligence tools, e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS and/or Snowflake
  • Have experience within a large B2C and/or B2B2C operation.
  • Have training or a degree in a STEM subject
