Job Description

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Commercial Management Accountant for an established and highly successful manufacturing group that has annual turnover in excess of £150million. This is a newly created role to the business due to growth and expansion. AsCommercial Management Accountant you will work with the businesses providing support and advice for the sales and projects operation, ensuring revenue and costs are in compliance with Group accounting policies.

  • Salary £50,000 to £55,000 + Benefits package
As Commercial Management Accountant key responsibilities will include:Project Accounting
  • Ensure the accuracy of installation projects revenue, costs and profitability
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of project related Balance Sheet items included inventories, receivables and liabilities
  • Periodic and ad-hoc reports on projects financial status, including receivables and retentions
  • Partner the project managers on the financial position of their projects
  • Project financial forecasting
Revenue Accounting
  • Ensure the accuracy and validity of revenue recognised
  • Management of sales allowances ensuring costs and liabilities are correctly recorded, including:
    • Calculation of employee and agents sales commissions.
    • Calculation of rebates
    • Verification of discounts
  • Partner the sales operation including:
  • Produce and develop revenue reporting requirements
  • Sales operations P&L reporting responsibility
To be successful as Commercial Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Ideally educated to degree level, but as a minimum "A" level qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a business partnering environment
  • Proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
