Job Description

I am currently seeking a skilled CNC Setter Operator for a family run Precision Engineering business who produce low and high-volume precision engineered products into a variety of sectors. The CNC Setter Operator will be a skilled engineer who can set and operate Faunc based CNC turning and machining centres.Commutable from: Coventry, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Stratford, Redditch, Solihull, BirminghamSalary: competitive with good benefits package.Hours of work - 7.45 - 16.45 Mon - Thu, 7.45 - 12.45 FridayDuties include:

  • Set and Operate CNC Machines including live tooling, sub spindle and 4 axis operations.
  • Read CNC programs, prove and un prove programs including editing and offsetting.
  • Fully inspect work pieces using measuring equipment (manual CMM)
  • Work unsupervised on Fanuc controlled CNC machines.
