Job Description

I am currently working with a well-established manufacturer of high-precision components in the Redditch area. They are seeking an experienced CNC Setter - Miller/Turner on a temp to perm basis to support the continued growth of their manufacturing facility.As a CNC Setter you will be responsible for setting and carrying out minor modifications of CNC machinery to ensure the quality meets the given specification.Commutable from: Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Alcester and Alvechurch.As CNC Setter you will be responsible for:

  • Measuring dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Watch operating equipment to detect malfunctions.
  • Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
  • Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
    • The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Experience in setting of CNC Machinery.
  • Experience carrying out modifications on CNC programs.
  • Previous experience in overseeing Operators ensuring quality is at a high standard.
