Job Description

CNC Programmer/Operator/ToolmakerRedditchDay ShiftsSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)The RoleOur client has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Operator/Toolmaker to join their expanding team. Working at this family run business, you would be producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine, maintaining qualityand safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.The CandidateIf you are looking to apply for this position, you must:

  • Have previous experience programming CNC Milling machines.
  • Have experience making, servicing, and maintaining press tools.
  • Have tooling, not production experience.
  • Be able to work under own initiative.
  • Be able to read and check engineering drawings.
  • An understanding of ISO 14001 would be desirable.
  • Experience tool splitting and regrinding, disassembling, and reassembling tools, replacing component parts, dies, punches and springs would be desirable.
