Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CNC Programmer Operator within the Toolroom of a busy manufacturing organisation.This is a well respected, long-established manufacturing company, who supply into a multitude of different industry sectors, giving them a stability and hopefully, further growth.The role of CNC Programmer /Operator is commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, Alcester, Evesham, Droitwich, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and WorcesterBenefits of a CNC Programmer / Operator

Duties of a CNC Programmer Operator
  • Produce Machined components by setting and operating CNC Milling machines
  • Working from engineering drawings to machine parts
  • If possible, program milling machines and eroder
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
  • Trouble shooting processes
  • Adjusting and reprogramming controls
  • Problem solving and tool improvement
Requirement of a CNC Programmer Operator
  • You will have CNC Milling machine experience, set and operate and ideally some programming abilities
  • To have the ability to work from engineering drawings
  • To be able to disassembly and reassembly tools
  • Tool regrinding experience
  • Ideally, you will have gained your experience within a Toolroom
  • Happy to workdays
