Are you sick of working every evening and weekendWant to be paid for every hour you workWant to feel rewarded for your effortsThis may be the Chef Supervisor role for you.We are working alongside our client in the search for a Chef Supervisor with to work in a secure unit.Working a 37 hour week, you will be working in a team of up to 20, providing upwards of 800 meals per day, you will be responsible for supervising up to 6 chefs on a daily basis.Youll get every other weekend off, alongside no evening shift work. Youll be finished by 6pm at the very latest.Key duties include:* Bulk ordering* Managing stock* Working alongside and supervising the kitchen brigade* Ensuring food is cooked to spec and delivered on time* Assising the catering manager with menu creation* Accounting for dietary and allergen requirements* Reporting incidents and accidents* Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered toThis role is a temporary role, with the view to the client taking someone on a permanent basis on completion of a probationary period and sucessful application.Whilst temporary, you can expect a competitive pay rate of 11.00ph Mon to Fri, 12.50 Sat and 14.00 Sun. Alongside this, you accrue holiday for every hour you work, and also have access to an optional company pension.Should you be successful on a permanent basis, you can expect a minimum annual salary of 23,000, inclusive of weekend uplift, rising to up to 25.500 after consecutive annual service, 25 days paid annual leave, a 37 hour working week, Civil service pension with up to 20% contribution, travel contributions and childcare vouchers.This position sits outside of the rehabilitation of offenders act 2005.TwentySix is an independently owned Catering & Hospitality specialist recruitment consultancy.
