For more information, please visit www.sembcorp.comPosition OverviewWorking as part of the Sembcorp Outage Team, supporting gate readiness through engineering specification completion, field planning (job stepping) and area leadership during execution.Taking ownership of work scopes via the Preps Engineer.ResponsibilitiesPositively encourage a culture of safety first.Apply the EHS principles in the framework of the maintenance program. Creation of Outage Engineering Specifications for specific tasks.Liaising with the various Plant Engineers for complex engineering issues. Ensure all P5 Outage work orders are in SAP with attached specificationsUpdate and review of the Outage Master Worklist to ensure full visibility on job progress. Conduct the necessary inspections and investigations to determine the specification ofeach work order.Estimate the labour and material resources required for selected tasks, via job stepping. Create, approve and sign off RAMS for selected tasks. Organise the procurement of required for selected tasks. Receive the materials ordered and inspect for compliance. Seek opportunities to affect cost savings. Organise and host the any co-ordination third party site meetings. Follow-up on the work on-site (observation). Perform a post-mortem review of the work performed. Follow-up on the gaps between "actuals vs estimated" and correct if needed. Adjust and update the specifications if necessary following site visits. Develop and maintain maintenance plans and BOMs for the assigned equipment. Provide all necessary instructions, tooling and parts for the maintenance tasks to becarried out by the maintainers.Maintain relevant maintenance performance measures in line with team and business requirements.Conduct weekly review meetings.Provide daily planning updates against schedule.Undertaker role of Area Engineer during the execution phase of the outage.RequirementsHNC (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline. Technical background, preferably time served. Ability to read and understand drawings.Good SHE awareness.Contractor management skills. Good communication skills.Understanding of SAP.Basic leadership qualities.High concern for standards (SHE, TMPs, trade skills and commercial etc). Proactive with a high level of self-motivation. Ability to work to strict deadlines Problem Solving Good report writing and meeting skills Attention to detail. Good influencing skills.High level of personal resilience. Good communication - oral/writtenAbility to work under pressure and on own initiative. Right to work in the UK is essential
