Job Description

Our client is looking for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager with experience in the Aerospace industry and with the ability to speak a reasonable level of Frenchto maintain existing customers whilst also expanding the client base. They are a leader in their field are investing heavily to expand the business, particularly into France.Account Manager / Business Development Manager Responsibilities:• Focus on generating leads, sales and business opportunities both UK and overseas.• Develop sales strategies, closure plans, and commercial responses to convert opportunities to revenue to achieve set targets agreed for given year.• Maintain exceptional communication and follow up with clients from first presentation to engagement of services and beyond.• Generate forecast report to reflect sales on a weekly, monthly and quarterly to full year basis.• Be involved in pricing and service strategies.• Develop an overall understanding of our competitors and identify where we can leverage a position of strength in the market place.• Excellent stake holder management of the company’s client base.• the team with any Sales project deadlines• Work in accordance with the company culture and procedures of ISO9100 and any other business processes in the future• When dealing with customer projects to manage both onsite and off-site activities in line with companies’ expectations• Ensure all works are performed in accordance with all SLA’s in place with customers.• Review customer satisfaction and validate all associated payment issues.• Remain vigilant in Customers’ business status (growth, financial challenges etc)• Supporting other department within the business to enhance opportunities with our customers, such as Marketing and QualityAccount Manager / Business Development Manager KPI’s:• Enquiry receipt to Quotation submission.• Enquiries/Opportunities to SalesAccount Manager / Business Development Manager reporting lines:• Reporting to VP/General ManagerAccount Manager / Business Development Manager Specific tasks:• Generating leads and turning leads to opportunities.• Create quotations and SLAs for customers• Manage all communications with customers• Customer visit to discuss opportunities or issues.• Assist Developing pricing strategies• Assist in Marketing strategiesAccount Manager / Business Development Manager Key Competency & skills:• Good Communication Skills• Excellent use of tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc• Knowledge of other languages, particularly French• Driving licence• Commercial Negotiations and SLA developmentAccount Manager / Business Development Manager Personal Characteristics:• Should have excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.• An analytical problem solver and strong decision maker understanding the balance between agility and long-term sustainability• Good visionary when opportunities arises.• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills• Organisational and time management skills.Account Manager / Business Development Manager Professional experience & background:• Has an HND/diploma or higher qualifications• Proven track record working in Sales for the aerospace manufacturing, preferably in aeroengine sector• Numerate with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.• Strong knowledge of IT skills• Ability to travel and work in Europe• Ability to travel to customers at short notice Required skills
