Job Description

Hours of Work: DAYS - rotating days shift Monday to Friday (06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00) with some weekends ( one in four )Benefits: Profit share bonus scheme, up to 30 days holiday per annum, company pension scheme, group life assurance, discounted healthcare.We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to provide support for the logistics network by the loading and unloading of stock via the articulated fleet and the monitoring and maintenance of stock levels within the Raunds warehouse. Loading and unloading must be in full compliance with agreed Health & Safety standards, whilst ensuring that product damage and losses are kept to a minimum

  • Work as part of a team to ensure safe receipt of new appliances into warehouse.
  • Ensure that vehicles are efficiently loaded meeting the agreed schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient and safe working environment and practices at all times.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with Whirlpool quality standards
  • Consistently demonstrate good product handling skills in order to eliminate appliance and packing damage levels.
  • Demonstrate effective daily stock control.
    • Requirements:Knowledge
  • A sound working knowledge of SAP systems in Warehouse Operations desirable
    • *Skills
  • Numerate and Literate
  • Hold or be willing to acquire FLT / Reach / Clamp / Counterbalance Licences
  • Possess or be willing to acquire approved Product Handling Skills.
  • Must be capable of working on own initiative
  • Operation of HHT Hand Held Terminals & Truck mounted radio data Terminals
  • Stock Management
    • Experience
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving Warehousing environment would be advantageous
    • Other Requirements
  • Good timekeeping & attendance is essential
  • Hold a current driving license
  • Must be willing to work shifts, which may include earlies/lates/weekends
  • First Aid Certification would be advantageous
