Job Description

VARIOUS SHIFTS & PAY RATES AVAILABLE:ROTATING SHIFTMonday-Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm paying £13.84/hour (12.25/hour basic plus £1.59 /hour fixed bonus) rising to £17.09/hour after 12 weeks (£15.50/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)NIGHT SHIFTSunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am paying £14.45/hour rising to (12.89/hour basic plus £1.59 /hour fixed bonus) rising to £17.96/hour after 12 weeks (£16.37/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)£1.59/hour bonus is subject to following all health and safety protocolWhy work for Howdens

As the ideal candidate you will be expected to:
  • Have previous experience within a warehouse environment
  • Continuously work in a safe manner to adhere to health and safety rules.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Carry out all necessary MHE checks.
  • Use manual handling to safely pick and stack products.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
  • Working additional hours/shifts when the company requires.
To be successful in this role you must:
  • Have experience within a similar role and environment (Full training provided)
  • Be able and willing to undertake some heavy lifting.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to work in shift patterns.
  • Be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Be willing to undertake other work duties when required.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with all colleagues and Managers.
