QA Depot Support Team Leader

Job Description

Howdens Joinery arelooking for a Depot Support Team Leader at our site in Raunds, to develop and manage the QA Depot Support Team, covering all external and internal manufactured product (excluding appliances). Reporting to the QA Depot Support and InboundQC ManagerLeading a team of 10, you will ensure an outstanding service is provided to over 750 depots throughout the UK, with all queries responded too, within 24 hours. You will have accountability for making daily decisions relating to depot claims, ensuring businessagreed SLAs are maintained, whilst making sure that the wider QA, Technical and Management teams are informed and aware of escalated issues.Role Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the team through organising and prioritising issues reported, allocating workload to individual team members through the SAP C4S system.
  • Managing and owning escalated tickets and emails from beginning to end.
  • Develop, maintain, and present weekly and period SLA reporting to the business.
  • Represent the department to Depot, Area and Regional Managers.
  • Departmental administration and housekeeping
  • Conducting interviews with support, for recruiting new team members.
  • Supporting ongoing team development.
  • Regional board administration
  • To monitor and provide reporting to measure product failure rates.
  • To work in collaboration with manufacturers and other Supply Division functions.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Ideally an understanding of manufacturing process and materials.
  • Experience of people management.
  • Excellent IT skills, including data entry, data analysis and reporting.
  • Kitchen and Joinery product range knowledge an advantage.
  • Used to working with a professional manner & demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Customer focused.
