Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Category Brand Marketing Manager to join us on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 18 months. Based at our modern office in Raunds, Northamptonshire this is an exciting time to join our FTSE250 business as we continueto grow and transform our marketing offering across the business.Reporting to the Senior Category Marketing Manager you will support the creation and implementation of a category focussed marketing plan as part of the wider marketing strategy for the business, Furthermore, you will specifically manage and champion Howdensown brands and activity plan, leading training and depot activity from a category perspective.The role offers a commercial and engaging category and brand marketing professional an excellent opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business to manage and implement category marketing activities ensuring all are delivered, measured andchampioned.A natural leader and mentor with demonstrable management experience you will join a fast paced and dynamic marketing team helping to raise their profile and deliver relevant materials to the agreed strategy and planKey knowledge and experience required

  • Proven experience of Category Marketing and Brand Marketing
  • CIM qualification is desirable
  • Previous people management experience is essential
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to present to and engage audiences at all levels.
  • Strong design and creative skills
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience of budget management desirable.
