Job Description

Howdens are looking for a skilled and experienced Brand and PR Manager to join our expanding Brand and Marketing team. In this new role, you will get the opportunity to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns, advertising, and PR. This Brand and PR Managerrole is full-time and permanent with a blend of home and office work based in our Raunds office in Northamptonshire. This is a great opportunity for you to play a key role in our expanding brand and marketing team, creating customer demand through world-classbrand execution as part of the UKs number-one Trade Kitchen Supplier.What will I be doing as a Brand and PR Manager

  • Implementing a multi-layered PR and communications plans to build compelling campaigns
  • Working closely with our PR agency to build the reputation of Howdens and deliver KPIs
  • Researching and writing press releases, briefing documents, managing media inquiries and interview requests
  • Developing regular reporting of PR activity performance and manage and record all PR activity costs
  • Collaborating with the wider marketing team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Developing strong collaborative working relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Leading partnerships and collaborations: Ideate and execute collaborations ranging from sponsorships, marketing partnerships and influencers
  • Managing the relationship with our monitoring and analysis agency
  • Analysing brand positioning and consumer insights to inform effective action
  • Translating brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Managing and implementing content marketing and brand initiatives
  • Leading creative content development to motivate the target audience to take action
  • Monitoring market trends, research consumer markets and competitors activities
What do I need to qualify for this Brand and PR Manager role
  • Experienced in the development and delivery of high-impact PR and Brand Campaigns
  • Proven track record in delivering successful PR campaigns that achieve campaign KPIs
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of the evolving UK media landscape
  • Experienced in the creative development and production process of integrated campaigns
  • Meticulous when it comes to attention to detail, and hold yourself to a high standard
  • Excellent communication skills - you will need to be an expert in building relationships both with your agency and internal stakeholders and will have the ability to influence at all levels
  • Creative thinker with a can-do approach
  • A people-first approach to leading a team
  • Highly organised and thrives under pressure and working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
