Job Description

Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Executive to join their ProcurementTeam based in Ramsey, CambridgeshireOur client is an incredibly exciting place to work, at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution means its fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding. They work with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe and want people who will do what’s right for the compayand their customers.Role Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all related transactions are recorded such that reporting on activities and costs is fully transparent.
  • Ensure that all key processes in your department are accurately documented.
  • When importing from outside of the EU, always follow procedures as per the Customs Manual
  • Follow up on order progress with suppliers.
  • Attend trade fairs where the clients Procurement Presence adds value.
  • Actively contribute to the development, achievement of, and reporting upon, departmental KPIs.
  • Get involved in specific projects where your skills or knowledge can add value.
  • Actively contribute to the success of the team and the business as a whole, stepping in to get the job done where a colleague is absent or needs help; these tasks you will feel as much ownership of as if they were your own, taking pride and care in their delivery.
  • Support planning roles, ensuring your expertise is put to the best use.
  • Practice Continuous Improvement in all areas of operation.

  • JD Edwards
  • Microsoft packages
  • Hours: 40 per week – Monday-Friday
