Job Description

Our client is one of East Lancashires fastest growing companies and are looking for a HR Administrator with experience of working across the HR function and willing to support where required. This could include HR systems, payroll, recruitment and selection,employment policy and any other day to day element of the HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity and no experience in the sector is necessary as our client recognises the value of a workforce from diverse backgrounds and welcome applications from candidates who have a strong HR background who can build strong relationshipsand deliver an excellent HR service to their stakeholders. These key attributes may have been developed in other industries and our client recognises the value of such input.IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience in a HR Administrator or equivalent role
  • You will enjoy multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines, ensuring you deliver the essential HR annual calendar events and activities for the business
  • You will be able to prioritise your work effectively to ensure you always achieve deadlines and will willingly provide support to other members of the business including key stakeholders
  • Your commitment to confidentiality and accuracy will be paramount, and youll be comfortable analysing, managing, and validating highly confidential and complex data
  • Our client is a fast-moving business so their business priorities and customer and client needs can change rapidly so you will be able to adapt quickly and successfully as these needs change
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be confident managing every interaction within the business and treat everybody as your customers
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships & confidence of key stakeholders
  • You will be able to work assertively using own initiative
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach.
THE ROLEKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a HR Administrator you will be conducting all administration tasks for new colleagues including pre-employment checks, issuing offer letters and contract, and arranging platform access
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance and legal obligations are met with the completion of HR administration tasks, including payroll duties for allocated colleagues including submission of new starter forms, leavers and employment changes
  • Sending, receiving, and verifying references for all new colleagues within the support functions
  • Monitoring probationary periods for allocated colleagues and liaising with line managers to ensure processes are managed in a timely fashion
  • As a HR Administrator you will comply with all GDPR regulations and support the administration of GDPR tasks within the business
  • You will support with the integration of the new HR system and help to ensure it operates as efficiently as possible
  • You will respond proactively to employee requests, delivering a first-class service and support across the business as and when required
  • Working on our communication, responding to any enquiries, monitoring and processing letters and documentation to all business employees
  • You will be comfortable working with high volumes of information
  • Attending various meetings and acting as a note-taker to support colleagues
  • Undertaking various other HR administrative tasks
