Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator working for a well established company on permanent basis in the central Bury area. This is exciting new opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team and is paying £17,096 - £19,457, depending on experience alongside great benefits.About The Role:

  • Being a key holder and providing on call support and site maintenance for a large organisation
  • Overseeing the facilities for the grounds and maintenance of the property
  • Operating the fire, intruder and other alarm systems
  • Managing the site security including locking/ unlocking of doors
  • Meeting and signing in all contractors to site
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are in place
  • Setting up of interviews, staff meetings and other events
  • Providing courier duties including the delivery of post or packages across the site
  • Carrying out checks to company vehicles
  • Carrying out risk assessments, method statements and health and safety checks both for staff and building regulations
  • Reporting any incidents
  • Acting as a fire marshall and maintaining an awareness of fire and health and safety regulations
  • Working along side the Estate and Facilities department to ensure the correct monitoring and reporting is in place
  • General administrative tasks such as keeping up to date records both manually and electronically, checking on stock items, taking delivery of goods

  • Previous experience in a similar facilities or property maintenance role dealing with COSHH would be essential
  • Health and Safety and First Aid qualification
  • Clean driving licence is required

  • Hours of work, 37 hours a week working shifts, must be flexible to be able to work on call - shifts
  • would be 7am - 2pm - 1.30pm - 9pm - Monday to Friday
