Job Description

At Good Ventures we take huge pride in our passionate team of artisans who produce all of our products in-house in our studio in Radlett, Hertfordshire.Our multi-award winning Evolve Beauty range is an artisanal range for skin, body and hair. This is an exciting time for Good Ventures as we also gear up to launch a new brand coming to stores in Spring/Summer 2021!Your Sales and Trade Internship:

  • We are looking for a Sales Intern to help our team fuel growth in our existing retailers and distributors, alongside aiding the team to bring on new business - both in the UK and internationally.
  • As well as this you will be able to get involved in the launch of our new brand and experience first hand what is involved in launching new products into the beauty market.
  • This will be a paid 3-month internship.
  • There is the potential of a permanent role at the end of the three month period depending on how you’ve done and where we are as a company.
    • Location of Your Internship:Please note that whilst this role will predominantly involve working from home, there may also be times when you need to come into the eco-studio in Radlett, Hertfordshire, so please only apply if you live within a one hour commute of Radlett.Your Key Responsibilities and Duties as our new Sales Intern:
  • Assisting with the launch of a new skincare brand into the UK and international markets
  • Completing competitor and trend research and analysis, plus ad hoc reporting requests
  • Supporting the team with listing new products in our retailers and distributors
  • Supporting the team by completing trade marketing calendars, anticipating the main changes versus last year and contributing to activity suggestions for 2021
  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc sales admin tasks (e.g. order forms & pricing)
  • Monitoring e-commerce retailer listings, ensuring correct images and copy
  • Supporting the team by identifying opportunities within each retailer. This may include identifying best practices, suggesting promotions, acting on customer feedback, or identifying strengths and weaknesses within our range offering.
    • You will have the following experience and skills to get the most out of the Sales and Trade Internship:
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in Spanish would be a major bonus
  • Desire to support the growing international trade side of the business would be very useful
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently when required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent analysis skills including reporting and researching specific UK and international sales markets
  • Interest in clean beauty, vegan and organic skincare products would be an advantage
  • Strong organisational, numerical and data analysis skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn a lot in a short period of time
  • Retail, beauty and business experience is a bonus
