KingAre you looking for a rewarding and challenging career in education Do you have a passion for helping students with learning disabilities or special needs If so, consider applying for the position of High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for our local schools.We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our local schools in Croydon and Sutton as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The HLTA will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in a variety of tasks and activities, includinglesson planning, delivering small group instruction, and providing support to individual students.Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Lead small group instruction and provide support to individual students as needed
  • Help to manage the classroom environment and promote positive behaviour
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed
  • Attend meetings and contribute to the planning and evaluation of the schools curriculum
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in education or a related field
  • Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Valid teaching certification is preferred, but not required
