Job Description

Core responsibilities will typically include:
  • Delivery date negotiation and acknowledgement on all sales orders
  • Expediting and purchase order follow up with suppliers
  • Production workload levelling across the whole of the Operations team
  • Leading daily production meetings, sending around notes and following up on all the resulting tasks
  • Communicating with other departments and external customers with regards order delivery status
  • Managing that process for any orders that have been fast tracked
  • Finding creative solutions to get any orders that have been delayed back on track
  • Updating the production board and ERP system
Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Proven success of a planning role within a product manufacturing or distribution company
  • High pressure and fast paced industry
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • High Computer Literacy (Excel & Outlook), familiar with working with a ERP/MRP system
  • Highly organised, detail focussed, problem solver
  • Tenacious team player, with a growth mindset, who enjoys finding solutions to challenges
Ideal experience:
  • Construction industry experience
  • Experience within the Metal manufacturing environment
Annual Leave: 20 days + BH + Christmas Shut Down.
