Core responsibilities will typically include:

Delivery date negotiation and acknowledgement on all sales orders
Expediting and purchase order follow up with suppliers
Production workload levelling across the whole of the Operations team
Leading daily production meetings, sending around notes and following up on all the resulting tasks
Communicating with other departments and external customers with regards order delivery status
Managing that process for any orders that have been fast tracked
Finding creative solutions to get any orders that have been delayed back on track
Updating the production board and ERP system

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Proven success of a planning role within a product manufacturing or distribution company
High pressure and fast paced industry
Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
High Computer Literacy (Excel & Outlook), familiar with working with a ERP/MRP system
Highly organised, detail focussed, problem solver
Tenacious team player, with a growth mindset, who enjoys finding solutions to challenges

Ideal experience:
