Job Description

Job Title: Estimator - Commercial Painting and DecoratingLocation: London, UKSalary: up to £60,000 per annumJob Type: Full-timeWe are looking for an experienced estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience pricing commercial painting and decorating contracts, and ideally, experience pricing intumescent paint.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely estimates for commercial painting and decorating projects.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labour expenses.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of current market trends and pricing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an estimator with experience pricing commercial painting and decorating contracts.
  • Experience pricing intumescent paint is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
