Job Description

The RoleSales Administrator - PurfleetThe RoleThe role of the Internal Sales Administrator is to develop a good understanding of the business products, customers, policies and procedures. Working as an effective member of the sales team to support overall company business objectives.You will be required to:

  • Accurate and timely completion of customer requests and sales administration.
  • Accurate input of sales quotes and orders
  • Effective communication with customer base
  • Support manager to achieve team objectives, such as sales campaigns
  • Support sales teams, internal and external, to achieve sales targets
  • Ensure that business controls and procedures are met in line with company policy.
  • Maintain sales & credit control procedures
  • Participate in team environment to achieve objectives.
  • Commitment to continuous personal development
Full training will be provided to support you in your developmentThis list is not exclusive - other reasonable duties and projects may be assigned from time to time.There is some specific knowledge, skills, qualification and experience we are looking for from suitable candidates;
  • Excellent administration skills, especially accuracy with figures, accurate data input
  • Prepared to be mobile to meet training requirements
  • Must be able to work on own initiative, be self-motivating and able to work as part of a team
  • GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent telephone technique.
  • Must be able to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills
  • PC literate
