Job Description

Radar Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a manufacturing business to hire an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join their Procurement team.The business are one of the leaders within their respective field, producing a broad range of products supplying into a number of sectors. This is very much a highly component/material intensive manufacturing process, so the importance of the Buyer rolecannot be understated!As a business, despite growing significantly over the years, they have remained true to the same core values and principles the business was founded upon.The role:This Purchasing Administrator will play a key role within the procurement function for the business. The important of adequate and efficient purchasing activity is key within this industry, so there is great value placed on this role, but also will comewith a huge opportunity for you to make a mark within this organisation long-term.The successful candidate for the Purchasing Administrator role will have the following background:

  • Experience working in a Buying, Purchasing or Procurement function within a Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial (or related sector)
  • A commercially savvy and astute professional, who works well as part of a team.
  • Strong administration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good internal and external stakeholder management ability.
You will receive a basic salary between £30,000-£40,000 (DOE), they also offer an extremely competitive benefits package, which includes:
