Job Description

Right Now Group are looking for an Ocean Export Gateway Clerk to join our client in based in Purfleet. This will be an amazing opportunity to be a part of an organisation that is committed to providing quality logistics services.Location: PurfleetSalary: £26,000 - £34,000 - Depending on experienceShift: Monday - FridayHours: 9:00 am - 17:30Annual leave: 25 days + BHKey responsibilities of an Ocean

  • Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and airline requirements.
  • Coordinating ocean exports with all branches.
  • Organise operational work-flow to meet time-frames.
  • Effectively monitor shipments and consolidations.
  • Maintaining high level of detail on data quality.
  • Use the company in-house systems to complete Export Documentation and Operational Processes.
  • Monitor any issues and escalate where support is required.
  • Ensure all shipments have related costs and freight charges apportioned to each file
  • Day to day problem solving.
Skills Required
  • Delivering an excellent standard of customer service is extremely important to this role.
  • Good time management skills
  • Be reliable with the ability to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal/written.
  • Knowledge and involvement in Worldwide Ocean Freight Exports including Consolidations.
