Job Description

A exciting opportunity for a graduate in design looking to start a career with a UK and European leader in the field of soft services and facilities management. Working in a variety of public and private sectors as part of our head office team. Full training and mentoring provided if you have a relevant qualification or some previous experience.Job Role The role of the Graphic Designer is to support the Commercial division to generate new sales collateral and promote the business through the generation of sales documentation, marketing campaigns including social media, internal business documents including bids and tenders and company brochures as required.Job objectives and responsibilities

  • Support the wider business by designing various documents that enhance the reputation of Samsic.
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements, ensuring all designs are presented to a uniformly high standard, designing, and editing documents, as well as coordinating and supporting in the production and finalisation of documents.
  • Prepare graphics such as icons, flow charts, diagrams and organisation charts as required to support high standard documents using InDesign software.
  • Responsible for internal business communications marketing.
  • Managing and delivering marketing projects to promote the business’ market position.
  • Supporting lead generation activities.
  • Supporting company CSR activities including participation in the company’s CSR Work Group.
  • Supporting business development managers to create winning proposal documents.
  • Assisting to create slide decks and other sales collateral.
  • Supporting the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the management of the company’s digital presence and social media activities.
  • Other duties as directed by the Head of bids and proposals.
    • Skills and Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proven graphic design experience.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Fully competent with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Video editing skills
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Advanced MS Office and Google suite experience for document production, graphic and image placement.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written to develop relationships across teams and clients.
  • Ability to work in high pressure environments and work to defined deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work around nominal working hours.
